Meher Hesnaoui (Skydive Dubai) is a winner of General Classification of 3rd edition of Tour of Al Zubarah 2015. Skydive Dubai team had a plan to bring Andrea Palini in the second place in the GC to give him enough points to claim the UCI Asia Tour crown, but the final stage developed differently.
The yellow jersey Jacob Tipper (Giant RBS) was on the wheel of Palini – red jersey, when the attack that totally changed the standings in the GC happened. Tipper and Palini were trying to catch up, but the leading pack was too strong.
Hasnaoui won the General Classification, 15 seconds in front of Eugene Wacker (Kuwait Cycling Project) and 20 seconds in front of Naser Rezavi (Pishgaman Giant Team).
Palini won the red points jerseys and Chaichi Mahamades (Pishgaman Giant Team) won the white best young rider jersey. Pishgaman Giant Team won the team competition.
